the xl is not a 1000 watt sub the lvl 4 is 1400 and the xl is now 2k+

after upgrades it could handle 1500-2000. that would leave some room to play with and I do find it hard to believe it only handling 1k

I wouldnt trust it, its not fi's big dog, its not meant to take that power. and for the people recommending the Z's. thats dumb, go for the nightshade, even tho sundowns are highly under rated

Yeah I wouldn't feel comfortable putting 3k to the ssd, I have no idea when the nightshade v3's are coming out.

So many choices, I have been wanting to buy something for the last few weeks but can't make up my mind. Might just put them in a hat and pick one.
