Didnt you say you can't fit a 15"? If you can fit a 15", the single 15" will get louder then the 2 12"s no doubt. More people should be running single 15" trunk setups for what theyre trying to achieve out of their daily cars. Unfortunately, local marketing strategies and word of mouth says 12"s are the chit. If your friend says 1 15"

the cone area is true but it all depends on the subs i mean i no 1 15 that will outdue 2 12's but then again it works the opposite way as well.

I actually prefer the a single sub setup myself over a dual or above setup.

hahahahaha!!!! ...........one 12 = about 63sq. in. of CONE AREA so two 12's would be about 126sq. in. of CONE AREA one 15 has about 117sq. in. of CONE AREA

soooooooooo two 12's are about the same as one 15 but for the sake of arguing
