18" FI SSD speaker in a new maxima?

How do you think a 18" FI SSD subwoofer in the back of a new maxima would sound? And what amp would be the best to push it. It is 1000watts RMS.

I think it will be very difficult to fit a box with the needed air space.

Recommended box size is 6-10 cubes. Your box would be fine for a 15...

do one 15'' q in that size box. I put my freinds 15 Q in my 05 sentra se-r spec v last nite and i love it, that sub sounds great and plays anything and his is tuned @ 42.

Yeah put a 15" Q in there or a BL, but don't tune to 42 hz, that probably sounds like *** on low stuff. Tune to 32-34 hz for the Q, 35 or so for the Bl

yea its not actually that bad on low stuff i did a 139 @ 34 in that box with a trunk car and 1500 watts. Although that is a daily/spl box so its used for both, but do tune it lower than that like what u said.

kk, I have a kx1200.1 do you think that is good enough to push that sub? it is a 1000RMS sub. I had that amp on 2 15" kicker cvr's in a sealed box. I sure hope this Q is louder than those shitty *** cvr's.

Also, my buddy is trying to sell me his (2) Alpine type-r 12's for cheap. Dunno, soooo many choices. Either (1) 15" Fi Q or (2) Type-r's. I want it to be loud sq and spl, or at least louder than those **** cvr's

1200 would push that sub just fine but it will still handle more and be ok. How much is you freinds type r's they actually are pretty decent subs esp. if you could get them for cheap.
