ok i have a 2001 grand am and an mj-18, is it possible to build a box to get it in there sumhow and still keep it ported or will i have to go sealed?

I am sure it can be done, but you will have absolutely no trunk space.

If you build inside the trunk you should have adequate room. I don't think you'll be able to get it in and out easily, if at all.

how the hell did u do that? I'll be doing that soon too, but mine's a custom 18 so it doesn't need that much space. But normal 18s would require a shitload of room and a civic trunk is way too small.

had 6.5 cubes plus about 80" of port area. just built it inside the trunk and used the spare tire well for the bottom 3" or so of the sub to sit in

upfiring sub and slide the box in from the rear seat opening. You'll probably have to cut out some metal to make the opening bigger. No biggie...

i put 2 15's in the hatch of a camaro and they said it couldn't be done... and i have had exp. in building boxes in a grand am it can be done
