Yes. If you have mounted your subwoofer in the meter, Id guess it will hit 161. At least.

the measurement device along with mic placement very important.

and I'll go out on a limb and say it again.

the specified SPL results will not occur in a Street application vehicle on NA soil.. that is my belief

that is why I said that figure will not occur on NA soil in the specified application..

that being

-1 bat

-1-2 amps

-1 15" or 2 12"

-standard box (meaning not a wall or anything resembling a wall)

-recognized SPL measurement device like TL on the dash

that pretty much sums it up...lol

i did a 155.9 w/2 12" & 2 40.1s. with enough power and the right vehicle it is possible.

where was the mic placed?

congrats on the number.. I can only assume it was on the AC meter which is off from the TL.

Also there is a very big difference from that score to a 160-161...

but as mentioned all is possible but only with a certain vehicle providing the all other variables of gear are met
