15s facing the cabin

I would go with what the guy with an impala says. General rule is if your trunk is louder up firing or rear firing unsealed, than it is forward firing, then you are best off doing that setup. If your trunk is loudest forward firing, then sealing it may gain some on the meter, but not always.

Yea i appreciate the info, seeing as its always a crapshoot whether or not different setups will work in different cars. Hmm i guess ill have to see what i want to do then. I kinda wanna try one of my hdc4 18 sub up port back and see how it works. may take up too much space to let the waves make it into the cabin well though. I was pretty sure i could get two 15s to fit in that opening even with a large port but i didnt measure much yet. Got a couple dc level 2 8s in there now doing work haha. BLAH i just wanna wall the fucker

Tell me about it, I've been talking myself out of walling my car for the last year or so. Just can't give up my backseat quite yet, still use it pretty regularly.

Yea I mean I dont use mine all that often. It gets to be a pain when you literally cant transport anything because the trunk is full of batteries and amps but whatever I did it for like 3 years in my last car and I loved it, and so did everyone in my area since aparently theres noone loud around here -_-

Yea chit I thought I remembered getting around 35 rough measuring. That wont work too well. How about subs slightly angled towards each other? I had a wall that I had to make a semi clamshell v thing and it got nasty I dont think I had much cancellation or any other issues

Yea might work possibly ..but not worth the effort in my opinion esp how loud 2 12s on 3.5-5 k getS

My loud boxes have all been between 4.5 -5cubes tuned to 32-34 with 16-18 sq in of port .. i havent done 2 15s but ive done quite a few setups from this trunk the one i got is here to stay

Thats cool man wish I could check that out. Ill probably try multiple things I like to change things up a lot and keep going bigger

Only thing i might do is add another aq3500 ...ive got tired of my other setups but i love this one...id be curious to see some different stuff

I've heard 2 skar zvx 15's on a IA 40.1 in the trunk of an accord... Subs up, ported back. If I recall correctly, he was hitting a high 151, low 152 peaking at 34 hz... Teammate and I built a MWSPL setup for his 2011 Impala, 2 15" Tantrics on a SAZ-3500, best number we've got out of it is a 150.5 on around 1800 watts. I believe it likes 47-48hz. It's been the loudest with woofers/port forward and sealed off from trunk.
