$150 sub for sealed box, SQL :)

My dad is a rockford fosgate guy and he wants to buy a punch stage 3 12"

is there anything better for $150, for sealed not ported, and maintain decent SQ as he listens to metal and likes to hear all the beats.

i want to show him something other than RF maybe he will try it.

Mb quart rwe 352 15". I know it's not a 12" but it only needs 1.5 cubes sealed and they sound great, I believe they are around 100 shipped.

u think rockford fosgate subs sound good? Have you actually heard a legit SQ sub? i'm guessing you haven't cause if you have you would'nt say that. I've heard p2's and i literally couldnt even stand em for like 1 minute. UGH, go get urself a real sub bro. I'd reccomend the ht pro blackout off ebay, 1500 rms sounds amazing 160 shipped, almost sounds as good as my old icon and idmax... its the real deal, in a totally different league than that p3 for 150 lol, thank me later

i didnt say RF is a SQ sub, or sounded good, but it doesnt sound terrible.

i have polk audio SQ subs and yes they sound better than the RF but dont get as loud.

weird that everyone mentions ID and such for SQ but never heard of ht pro blackout

if you want to spend more than 150 Id look into the audiopulse Epic for 180.. its bare-none of the nicest drivers out there.. next step up would be something like the shiva X2..

i ran across the rd sonances and they seem like a solid choice but idk where to buy and i emailed them to point me to my nearest dealer and no response... my guess though is they will be expensive...
