you know in all my years of driving, i have been to some pretty deep parts of "the bad part of town" and have never had a problem. honestly, its all in how you come across to people within the first 10 seconds you meet them.
if im driving by and im not where "i belong" in the views of mainstream america, i just say hello via the "two finger wave" on my steering wheel. guess what that gets me...........a nod of the head (either up, or down depending on the person). Both of which....mean hello. I am sorry to say but you are wrong saying that going to the wrong part of town will get you beat up or robbed or stripped of anything valuable. Fact of the matter is, while some people may SAY THAT, like I said their views are VERY EASILY altered withing 10 seconds.
EVERY TIME I have gone to "the bad part of town" I have either A)left with something that I really needed for my car, or B) left with everything I owned going in, plus a little cash from selling audio stuff or C) i left with what i came with. NEVER have I been "haggled" and I have NEVER been messed with.
The people who say they will beat your *** for coming to "their hood" are merely trying to protect their grounds. Respectable....just going at it all wrong. So all these points are invalid that you are saying about beating someones *** for coming to your street.
