15" Type R - Quick Question for those with Experience...

Doing a small build for a friend with a single 15" R on 750 rms.

First, even though I know it's more than plenty I'll ask anyways - that is enough for daily for the 15" R correct? It should push it fairly close to it's limits if I"m not mistaken. Not saying it has nothing more to give - simply stating that it will not gain much output with more power/it'll fry on music with much more.

Secondly, 3.5 net too little? Figuring around 3.0 for the sub at 34 after displacements.

I appreciate it. I noticed where Skip did four 12" R's in his AB500.1 in I think it was 6^ft(maybe?) and it seemed to have worked well, so I can only assume 3^ft would be sufficient for the 15.

What I'm asking is whether or not the sub still responds well to the roughly 3^ft. According to everything that I know about the R's I need to be giving it more than 750, but on music? I'm afraid the sub wont go much more for daily beating. Considering it will be in a less efficient enclosure I think 750 is reasonable...

Edit- Actually no. Less efficient enclosure. I'm not thinking too well. Skip or someone who has some experience with pushing these woofers - maybe Tommy - - - will the sub handle 1200 RMS per 15 for a daily beating? Enclosure will be a tad small as stated... Will it thermally handle it?

i personally think they need more than a 750w rated amp, but whatever. mine sounds just perfect with 1500w.

id like to see a larger box volume as well, but meh. it should work pretty good.
