15" Sub in my truck

I have an 2002 Extended Cab Silverado and i was wondering if i could fit a 15" sub on top of the back seat. The sub would either be: DC lvl 4, Fi BL, Inciminator Death Row, or and AQ HDC, they all have about the same mounting depth, but im just trying to put one of these in without having to take my seats out, so would a box for one fit on top? or do i actually need to remove my seats?
