Yeah, well, XMAX it's like everything else, only one part of the equation. The sum of the parts is more significant. I've used a lot of FOCAL subs and while they cost a lot, their Xmax is often nothing to write home about - but their subs sound incredible. Specs don't sound good, well executed purpose driven design does.

Does make a strong case for mounting ones sub outside the box! I mean, who cares about a cone and dust cap when you can look at all that beautiful hardware!

I have a massive Audio hippo xl 122 I'll let go cheap, brand new in box, only tested it to make sure that it works. 350,plus whatever shipping costs are.

Deff a beautiful constructed sub. The best thing about as well, they do perform very well too and have excellent C.Service and even Tech service to speak with.
