heres another grille, i like the no grille look better myself

that grille is WAY to much chrome..i really wanted the polished steel flat shine look but its hard to find..i might make something:up2somet:

yeah i used like almost an inch of padding under it on the top and none on the sides, so it makes a sweet armrest for my rear passengers

what i really wanted to do is use these type of cabinet pulls:

i would have 2 on the 9 inchers for the sides and 1 of the long ones to go across the middle. i would arrange them oriented diaganolly and parallel to each other so it would look sort of like the second grille on my list, but with one less bar and alot less cheap looking. but those are 20 buck per pull, so that would be 60 bucks for my grill..unreasonable!

There you go. I would get what he just suggested. Would match the woofer nicely. How does that alpine x sound in that box?

the more i look at those, the cheaper they look... and i think they would look even cheaper once i got them... those are just thick wire pretty scetchy..i think i could build something better

like i said, I am still breaking it in, i have about 5 hours play time on it now so i will bump it up a little more then give it another 5 at that level, then put it at where i am going to have it and really see how it sounds, but like i said it sounds great so far..excatly what i wanted
