Yes your stupid! Because they make shallow 10 and 12 woofers now with 3 1/2 inches of mounting depth. You can easily put a 12 in a regular cab truck these days.

There's a guy on Impala SS forum that runs 3 8's in his Impala and is fairly loud. He must be a retard too.

It's stupid too even own 8's to start out with. You don't have many choices these days anyway. Most companys don't even make 8's anymore because there's no demand for them. People with good sense know you need at least a 10 inch woofer to get decent bass performance out of your car. The only times 8's come in good is if you have limited space like I do in my truck. But then you have to do a sealed enclosure and thats a waste of time for 8's. If a 8 ain't ported or in a bandpass box it ain't shit period.

So? If you knew what you were doing, you've been able to put 10s or 12s in reg cab trucks for the 17ish years I've been into this.

Just because you can doesn't mean you MUST, SHOULD or NEED to. A lot of companies don't make 10s either. That must mean that you're stupid for thinking 10s are good.

6.5s can get just as low as an 18. I think anyone that uses anything bigger than 6.5s is stupid. Anyone that has an opinion different than mine is stupid. Anyone who has a different goal for their system than me is stupid. Anyone who wants something different that what everyone else has is stupid.

i use to have 6 tang band 8's the non neo motors, and they got ****IN LOW AND LOUD. on this tuesday when they get back in stock at partsexpress.com im going to buy 4 and put them in my trunk. tuan is helping me design my box. wo0t. those are nice 8s and for the money its a hellava deal, and the price is staying at $38 until october 31st.
