Notice that of all the people posting right now only one is bashing the 8's?? I went from a fifteen down to 4 RE8's and let me tell you, the RE's are killing it. It's all in the install mang.

8's can get loud I'm not saying they won't. But I can tell you one thing they won't kick you in the back either.

Ran 7 re8's in the back of my s10 extended cab and they most definately kicked you in the back was quite impressive, and only 1200 watts.

Bladehines needs to hop in here too....wasn't he doin high 40's with re8's sealed in his truck?

My 9510G is a 10" woofer and quite frankly it sounds like poopy. But it is **** loud.

why do you laugh? he is right, 10"s are pretty much the best mix of both worlds.

and its a fact, smaller woofers do not get down low, and bigger woofers sound worse than smaller woofers... the only downside is that if you want to get loud and sound good then you have to have alot of smaller woofers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . unless you are fine just sounding medi-ocre, then you can use 12"s.

there is alot of mis-information in this thread. there is a direct corelation between cone size and output/SQ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif . i would make a graph to school all you people, but i dont have excels.

I had two jbl gt series 8's one time. I also ran two polk momo 8's for awhile. I had two punch stage 2 8's one time. But personally I'd rather run one 10 anyday than two 8's.
