10" sub, xlnt SQ and hits hard?

I know I know, search! And I have and there's too much info to sort through.

I just bought a 350Z which is limited on space. I had an ARC 12" in my previous car and I'm putting that in my wife's car and going with a 10" in mine. I really like ARC but I'm thinking of trying something different.

I've seen recommendations for DD Soundspliter TC...etc., but I don't know what to chose.

The box I'm getting will have about .75 cuft of airspace and plenty of mounting depth.

I might buy a new amp so anything up to say 750 watts RMS.

I really like responsive, SQ oriented base but I also like it to hit low and hard.

I'd like to stay around $200 but will push the budget to $300 if it's really worth it.

.75 cubic feet really isn't that much to work with... can ya go any bigger? or are you willing to sacrifice some output?

I can maybe get 1 cuft but I don't want to sacrifice any more space than that.

It doesn't have to be earthshattering output, it's a little car and the sub is a few feet behind me. I guess in that case I would lean more to the SQ side and it's ok if I lose a little output. I would like pretty low extension though. I hate it when some smaller subs won't play low bass notes. I do listen to Hip Hop sometimes.

I'm sort of leaning towards the AA Arsenal...

Any other suggestions?

Go with a RL-I 10"... They like small space and can like anywhere from 200-400 watts... Easy power to find cheap especially if bridged @ 4 ohms or 2 ohms...

SS Rl-i 10. No experience with the AA, but the SS is designed specifically for small sealed SQ apps. Reccomended sealed is .5, but .75 would offer smoother lowend.

The D6 Diamond is another good choice for high power, small sealed SQ apps.

From what I'm reading I'm really leaning towards the SS RL-i10.... Like you guys said, it likes small space and doesn't take a ton of power. Plus it looks like it has good extension, SQ and a decent output.

What would suffer if the box is larger than the .5 cuft recommended? I haven't run into the box too big problem before. it's usually the other way around.

The older Arc speakers were made by ID but tne newer ones are redesigned. I think they share properties with the IDQ. I think the ARC series subs they make are in between the IDQ and IDmax as far as sound quality and SPL. I really like the ARC sub.

I 2nd a vote for the Diamond D6 10" in .75 cubes. The IdMax 10 would rock but it's mounting depth is pretty deep.
