1 vs. 2 12's -Should I upgrade?

Hey everyone, its my first post here and I've got a question about my system. I've got a '08 Dodge charger with:

-Focal Solid 1 Amp that's 470 watts at 2 ohms

- 1 Alpine Type R 12" in ported pro box

-Alpine door speakers

I love the bass, but I have to fold my backseat down to feel the bass.... Lotta fun, but I think I want more

What I'm looking at:

-Kicker dx1000.1

-2x Alpine Type R 12's dual whatever box

-Same door speakers, I like bass

Please tell me if there's a noticeable difference between the two. Is it worth doing the upgrade? How much louder do you expect it to be?

It will cost about $300-400 to upgrade. Thanks!
