just wondering what people on here think would be louder and sound better built to specs proper for both. basically i'm really looking for more SPL between the two which one will give more SPL?? price isn't a matter just wondering which setup you guys think will be louder, both setups would be run by a single MA 5011DX 1000watts rms at 1 ohm amp. thanks

yes sir it is. after much talking with a certain SPL king i've decided to not use my DD subs and try something new so i'm going to sell my DD's.

just been told by a well known spl king that even the SE line from RE is louder than his old pair of 3515's with the same setup and power and everything the SE's were louder. that and a buddy of mine will prolly buy my DD's if i wanted to sell them to him for 500 for the pair and that's actually what i would want for them think that's good price or too much to ask for them???

wow, have u even heard ur dd's yet, and 500, hmmm, if he will buy them for that, sounds g0od....

i wasn't happy with my dd's, they got loud in the box, but i like the sound, gonna tune muuuuch lower....

yeah i might just ask 450 for them which is a good asking price for em. i mean they reatil for 290 a piece i think so 500 for the pair isn't that bad.

running 2 blaupunkt overdrive 12"s and my dream subs are on there way 2 DD3515's.

yeah i know but a buddy of mine here has a single DD 3515 in his car running off a 1000watt kicker amp and it was very loud but dirty and i actually want something a little cleaner.

actually it was a 6.5cuft slot ported box that was tuned to specs that DD sent the guy. he works at a custom shop and does very good work one of the better builders in austin.

sounded dirty? I doubt that thats not the subs man. the 3500 sound pretty clean for such a high QES. the 9500s sound even cleaner. IMO the Ks would be louder in the correct box, the HCs are not as loud the SEs but sound much much better ported.

mine sound bad, that and the WHOLE car shakes, gonna tune much much lower, down to 33 hz, see if that improves stuff
