As far as looking "dorky", nobody ever says my one sub looks "dorky" when they hear it. It's more like "holy shit, you're only running 1 sub???".

Thats what I was trying to get through to him. Then you make the people with 2-3 subs feel like crap because theirs isn't as good as your one.

A pair of Pioneer 3000SPL's and a 1500 watt amp. should come to around $400

A low end pioneer head unit is $100

A decent pair of components can be had for $150. Spend another $100 on an amp to power them.

Get some deadening, 0 guage wiring, do the big 3, and build your own box and you'll still have enough money left over for bubble gum.

Hey guys, while I agree 1 sub may sound better looks wise I DO NOT LIKE only 1 sub so why cant I have two?

I have never built a box before so not sure I should since I don't know anyone who has other then the guy down the street and he is already going out of his way to put the stereo in with me to ask him to build the box to is just to much to ask...

However I can get the kicker box if its that much better then the fusion but I have never heard a kicker before...

IM SO CONFUSED NOW.

Pay him to build you a box.

Otherwise have someone design a box for you. Really not that challenging to build if they are already designed.... just wont be perfect cosmetically.

Hey dude, this head unit you mentioned... Does it have 50x4 meaning I don't have to buy a seperate amp? That will really save me some dough if it did and if it does would it still sound decent with some decent front speakers? Thanks for your help!
