below 1ohm bye bye jl. they have a power supply that is incredible though and allows for an output change that is so slight it's not worth posting dif. #'s of output @dif ohm loads. the jl1000x1 will do 1kw from 4-1.5ohm.

they are dual 1 ohm subs, im not sure the rms, i think maybe like 1000 or 1100, i'll talk to him tomorrow and find out

no, they can only go down to 1.5 Ohms, and still only put out 1000 watts. way to expensive and weak to be good spl amps...and the new orion, im pretty sure are only 1 ohm stable..but they are 2.5K at 1 ohm

if your talking about your MMATS amps the old school amps only did 1.5ohm the new ones will happily go under 1 ohm trust me on that one. as i said on AIM man your doing something really wrong to not like them amps and juggy subs.

not cheep but...

soundstream sleeping beuty (sp?) goes that low and puts out sik power don't it.

it is weak as at 4 ohms tho like 1 watt or sumthing

also, there were one or two older soundstreams that were able to do the same. i think the SS 10.0 was one of these - im quite sure it is at LEAST 0.5ohm stable.

but keep in mind at such a rate, there will be HIGH CURRENT draw, espceially from the class A/B camp

well, the phoenix gold MPS2500 can be run at .25 ohms mono, but not much more (around 1300 watts+)

i have and suggested 2 or 3 amps that are solid 1ohm stable amps that give 1kw rms or more.
