1/4 mile times should be 2x of your 1/8 mile time

Because after you pass the 1/8th mark, your rate of acceleration drops. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Thought I'd educate the forum right quick.
I guess torque and gearing have no bearing on this. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I have given this some thought and I think you have things backwards.
You think that a 1/4 mile should be 2x your 1/8 time but if you look at it closer, the number 8 is twice the size of 4.

Therefore the 1/8 mile should be 2x what you run in the 1/4 mile.
your logic is undeniable
