Brian and I have been planning this for a while. He acquired 4k in cash from a family member and asked me to pick some stuff out for his car. This is what I grabbed.

Moar later, It got dark and no flash. Kinetic 1500 in the trunk and its loud. Wires are a mess and the other amp isnt in. More tomorrow 12 hours to do it all in one day.

Nice start. I recently did an 03 Tiburon and from what the dealership told me the interiors are the same on the 08.. They are very well put together which is rather annoying because it makes it more time consuming to take apart, but worth it IMO because it makes for a cleaner looking install.. I did a pair of 10" Q's off of an AQ 2200 and it gets **** loud for what it is.. Threw that and an HC2400 in the trunk and the girl can still get to her spare tire and it gets nice and loud, especially for what it is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.. I do agree, Very simple to do the big 3, but I did have to take the seats out to run the 1/0 and RCA cables because whoever owned the car before her decided to put carpet pad under the carpet and glue the carpet to the pad so I couldn't get it pulled up enough to run the wires...

Well put together but definitely meant to take apart, maybe Ive played with cars too much but it definitely wasnt a problem to take apart, not compared to most newer GM cars anyway. We pulled the seats out just to make it easier, probably didnt have to though. Like you said though, its loud and clean. Biggest downside that I have noticed is the 6x9s cause the back panels to resonate at a couple different frequencies right in the midbass :/ I guess well need more dynamat and even more on the eq. We took it for a test run and you could hear the fixtures rattling on the walls at Taco Hell.

Well the part that I was talking about was the fact that everything is screwed together basically.. In my 03 Silverado and any of the other vehicles I've worked on, most panels are just clips and pop off.. In the Tiburon every single trim piece has some type of screw holding it to something else.. I do like it, just takes a little more time to take apart and put back together IMO //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif..In the one I did the 6X9s in the back were actually taken out by someone for some reason so IDK about that part... She is having me replace them but she's waiting til the money is saved up for me to replace all the speakers and amplify them. But there have been people argue when showing it and swear that its more than a pair of 10s until I pop the trunk.. Probably the vehicle being so solid and it being a hatch for the most part.. I like to think some of it is that I know what I'm doing after how long I've been doin it tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Its a little of both honestly. Its a solid car and doesnt rattle much. That plus a hatch makes for loud lol. And I can agree. Having the screws is sometimes nicer though because those body clips like to bend or tear or break. The car seems like it was designed to be taken apart almost. Plus even the stock radio is put together better than half of the aftermarkets ive seen lol. When in this degree of audio most people cant believe how little youre running. two 8s sound like a 15, single 12 sounds like four sealed. Its all in the install and the quality of the equipment.

want an official review or just one right here?

also we did like 143.5 i think. Mid 143s anyhow. Im sure bryan remembers for sure. that was at like 47Hz with the door open in the kick. did 140 even sealed on the dash. see if we cant get higher moving the sub around and having the amp tuned

it was 143.7

i finally got all the wires cleaned up back there so it doesn't look like ****, as soon as i get my camera back ill post some pics up on here of the finished project and a little flex demo vid, for a single 12 that hatch gets some movement on it.
