Alright this will be my first time logging a build in cyberspace.

I'm not the type of homeboy that carries my camera around everywhere documenting everything i do, but i'll try to do the best i can.

As of now i am building my box for a fi btl 15" to be faced forward into my cabin, with interchangeable 8" aeros, sealed from the trunk, on two aq 1200's. I'm also building a box for a friends soundstream xxx.

FI sent my a btl 18" instead of a 15" about a week ago, so i sent it back and am now just waiting on the 15" to complete my box.

Here are some random pics of things that are happening at big daddy Gumby's house..

Here's the whip..

Front batt.. Optima G34.. 1/0 Tristar welding cable...Soon to be 250 amp fuse..

Kinetik hc2000 in back...

Hidden power/grounds... grounded to floor (another ground from same bolt underneath car to better spot on uni-body)

Box/Bracing before top...

Termination through box.. same on inside... Red locktite on inside nuts

Inside terminals with test 8 ga. wire..

SS XXX hooked up to terminals for continuity test...

Quad 1 ohm coils... My meter zeros at .2 ohm...

Who's that sexy girl sitting atop my box?

A few months ago i stripped out the entire car deadened it out, (3 layers on roof), e-foamed EVERY nook and cranny, completely sealed my rear deck, and braced my roof in the middle against the stock bar the goes across both sides (these steps led to noticable gains in pressure with my old subs, as my roof was solid as ****). This is the only pasrt i dont have pics of because now all my interior is back in.

This is a box i made a long time ago for my old type r's for an idea of how i like to paint my boxes. I'm most likely going to paint my new box with the same blacks latex, but im going to have a yellow FI logo on the top/rear of the box that will be visible when you open the trunk. btw everything is going to be black with yellow. (sub/dustcap, box/logo, wires, ect.)

Its looking real good. Are setups are very similar. I'm running a 15" BTL on an AQ2200 and also have one of the 8" ports. I had to put a 45 on my port to make it fit the box, but you can't tell. Ill be posting my buildlog soon. Im finishing glassing the amp rack and I'm FINALLY done.

Hell yea I bet its gunna slam. I have a 14 ft piece of that 8" sewer pipe so I can make a ton of different aero lengths.

thanks a ton man. i found the little screw block things at a local hardware store. that's threaded rod going through the box that i just cut into 3" pieces..

Alright it's update time *****es. All the following pictures were from today when i did a test fit of my unfinished box into my car. I'm still waiting on my sub to come, but the setup is starting to come together.

A 20" and a 15" aero partially painted.

Box sitting in back seat, getting ready to slide through ski-pass. (Top of backseat out for test fit)

Had to beat the **** out of the opening with a hammer to make her fit through. (Didn't want to cut the sheet metal and compromise integrity)

When the rear deck got sealed i relocated the 6x9's to the back seat arm rest and rerouted the stock wiring. (they're bolted in from the other side not screwed)

Looking into the old rear 6x9 hole to see some deadening..
