07 F150, running power wire?

Hey all, did a quick search and didn't see anything for new f150's. Headin to the parts store for a quick bit, and then will be under the hood checkin for a place to run the wire.

Figured I would throw this out to anybody that may have ran power wire through a new f150 though...where did you run your wire? I only need to do a 4 and 8 guage run.

peel the carpet back and find a nice big blank part of the fire wall and drill a hole. Make sure to use fitted grommets and caulk.

Found a nice existing grommet right by the battery to run through, just like my mustang was. Sucked snaking the cable from that high up in the dash but pretty **** convenient for an existing hole.

I prefer to run power wire in PU trucks

under the vehicle usually following the factory

harness and back up into the rear of the cab through the vent

Zip ties and a little loom and know one sees anything

Had that thought too, thats how I did my s10. This grommet was too **** convenient though. only about a foot or foot and a half exposed in the engine compartment and the rest tucked in the dash and under the sill plate to under the back seat.

Had I not found that firewall grommet it probably would have gone underneath.
