This is the gear going into it.

500/1

300/4

Audiocontrol LC6

Fiberglass amp enclosure

Fiberglass Sub for single 12" (FI SSD, RE SE, SI BM, SS RLP)

Fiberglass trunklid cover with LC6 mounted in the center.

My car im starting with..

I had my girlfriend tape/foil the area where the amps are going

Then I layed out where I kinda want the amps, They are going to be flush mounted.

Heres a shot of the inside with the factory look I want to keep.

Heres the doors that might house a frontstage with some CDT's 6.5, 4" mids, and tweets.

Here is the trunk Lid that I am going to mount and fabricate the LC6 to.

And here is the Fiberglass shell I Have made so far with about 4 layers or so of 3/4oz mat. So far this is used almost 3/4 of a gallon of resin.. Remember this is my first time It is possible I am doing it wrong...

I am going to a few more layers and trim it down and fit in there so its able to be held in place somehow.

I have about 10 yards of fiberglass and im going to order 2 more gallons of Resin from US composites.

I also am going to order distro block, 3 2ch 4m rca's, 10ft of 12ga wire, ring terminals from knukonceptz. And I already have enough 4ga laying around.

For your first time its not to bad but you need to get rid of the bubbles, they weaken the structure.

I reccomend using the chop mat because its eaiser for bumpier surfaces. Its harder to work with but it conforms better than the cloth.

As far as resin goes best stuff i found was Bondo. Its cheap and it dries really fast.

I think wal mart sells it for the cheapest.

Nice job on getting the GF to do the foil, that job sucks.

P.S

If you havent already bought a subwoofer ive got a bunch of brand new tc9 based 12's i could sell you. It wouldnt even be close to $250 either

I Figured out how many bubbles I had the day after I did it. So on the next coats I tried getting them out and making it a lot better. I just cut the glass into like 3x4 pieces. I did the back of this amp rack structure first because its not going to be seen and gives me a little practice.

Okay i'll let you know about the tc-9 subs. Im running low on money during this project. So I am going to have to wait a little for the sub.
