04 15xxx box dimensions

Read a couple times some of his boxes were off a little or is it just me? Can't remember if it was cleared up or what.

4cft@35hz. I punched them in at the12volt, and it says 5.40213cft^3. ??
your not accounting for the port volume. 5.4 is the gross volume of the box.

after all displacements its 4 cubes though.

his boxes dont account for end correction and subwoofer displacement. but those wont make a huge difference anyways.

My bad moe! lol

i used his 4cuft@30hz box plans and everything was fine. i just double baffled mine. on that saz it will be loud but to me it feels like i needs more, but that's cause i went from a pca2000D to a saz1500D. :/

4@30 design is removed. Lol man, I think you may be half deaf? Downsizing does **** and you usually notice it..alot lol.

that box is about 4.23^3ft after displacement. the only thing thats missing is the driver displacement, which for the XXX i believe is like .29^3ft. which leaves about 4 cubes and a tuning very close to 35 (should be closer to 34 or so).

that box will work fine.

yeah i grabbed the plans a long long time ago. i had the box in which i could of taken measurements but it just recently was attacked by the rain and i ended up breaking it down to throw it away so i couldn't give you measurements if you wanted.

now i'm not aware of what vehicle you have but you stated you have a trunk. i know you posted the trunk dimensions but before you go building anything remember that you have to get past the trunk opening.

when i used the 4@30hz i was barely able to fit the box thru the opening because i didn't check. i ended up having to remove some trim panels, the trunk lock latch, the spare tire and floor board just to get the box in, and it was a *****. after then i couldn't put the spare or floor board back in.

your going to love that thing.

soon i will be getting a second XXX and next year another saz. probrably run 2 15's sealed since i know i have the space for it. but ported would require me to take out the back seat. :/
