HELP! Fiberglassed Enclosure Vibration in Spare

Okay, so my enclosure holds 3 subs. It fits right into the spare tire well. I made it so that you tighten the enclosure where you tighten the spare. The bottom half is all fiberglass while the top where the subs are mounted are on a mdf board. Now when the subs start hitting hard there is a vibration from the enclosure hitting the trunk.

Now is there a way to get rid of the sound? I was thinking putting a layer of foam where the enclosure touches the trunk or something. I'm such a noob. =\

Foam would work. Deadener would also help.

i was thinking foam too.... okay here goes

take out subs out of the fiberglass enclosure, then put foam into trunk area. quickly put in the enclosure then the foam will make somewhat of a mold? is this correct? what kind of foam do you guys recommend.

sound deadening... do i just put these on where the enclosure touches? any special ones you guys suggest?

I would just get a piece or two of close cell egg crate foam , or carpet padding , throw it in the tirewell then put the enclosure in on top of it . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Some foam rubber from joanss fabrics, between the glass and metal.

just buy some speaker box carpet. maybe just a yard of it. cut it into large patches and glue it(3m spray glue) to the bottom(outside) of your fiberglassed box. if you see wear onto the trunk floor from the fiberglass vibrating then those would be hot spots on adding capet to.

Regular ol' Insulation foam from HD or Lowe's will be fine. You can get a 15' x 1' roll for about $15.
