i have an 2001 nissan pathfinder, im looking to install a system and cant find a good place to run a 2g power wire though the firewall. anyone odne an install on this suv?

what side is the batt on under the hood? driver or pass side?

run it down whatever side the batt is on.

usually allways a good spot threw the wire harness gromet in the fire wall under the driver dash.

like stated but anywhere is almost fine. Just drill a hole and your ready to rock and roll

the prob is there is not alot of room to see the firewall inside the enfine bay... i was hoping someone had done the install b4...

Don't know if it's the same but on my 96 Pathfinder, on the drivers side firewall there is a plate held in place by 2 bolts. This is for the clutch cable. If you have an automatic like I do, you can remove the plate and run large AWG cable. I'm only running 4AWG but the hole is large enough for 1/0.

i had an 01 xterra do you have the v6 or 4 cyl

any who check on the side the battery is on about halfway down the firewall i ran my power wire in thru a spot there it came out right behind the glovebox andthe cabin airfilter on the inside
