01-05 civic owners I need grounding help

I cant find a suitable place to ground my amp and my hc2400 to on my chassis.

i was wondering if any other civic owners could tell me where they grounded to other than the sheet metal?

I have a 97, but it's basically the same. I used one of my strut tower bolts in the trunk for my ground.

are the strut tower bolts bolted to the thicker frame metal?

Yes, on my car they are, so they should on yours. There really isn't any good, or better I should say spots that the strut bolts. Maybe the spare tire hold down bolt, but thats also sheet metal. Just make sure you sand all the paint off.

ill try that out. if that doesnt work i guess ill just drill a hole in my trunk and take my ground down to the main frame piece. i dont want to do that really.

do 2 runs of 0 gauge - and + . do it once and know you have a good ground forever. i just did it on my 06 civic sedan used about a total of 26 feet. run it under your car and come in through the bottom by the spare tire.
