I have two RE8 that I am looking at putting in a 2000 ford ranger. Wondering what anybody else has done with this same idea. Any ideas on box size and placement of box not a lot of room to work with. Trying to keep it under $200 for an amp. Any suggestions welcome.

can you fiberglass directly over dynamat? what about right on top of metal? for anyone who has done fiberglassing, have you had problems with the fabric pattern showing through? if so, i would like to know how you got around that problem. did you use a layer of the mat? Thanks, Pat

tuning is easy, just go to http://www.linearteam.org like adam said, and download WinISD Pro, and enter the specs of your sub if its not in their database, and then select it under the new project window, and follow the steps in the window, select vented as your enclosure, and then it will ask...

well, i have a XXX 15 in 4 cubes tuned to 32Hz, and i LOVE the way it sounds, and more importantly it is hella loud. i am more for SPL than SQ, but the XXX gives a great mix. I personally love the way the XXX looks, either way you put it in the box, regular or inverted. i would say go XXX...
