What is a good quality, reliable head unit with a fold out DVD screen? Im looking to spend as little as possible, but will have up to 1K i hope.

im actually not sure ill even get one, but id like to know which one i should get in the event i do get one.

Head unit 1 output rcas, to 5 channel amp, LOC or 1 set off HU
It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

Question about connections between head unit (HU), amp, and sub
One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Bluetooth only head unit
There are a couple of options. You can use a marine bt unit. They come in the size of a hockey puck and can mount anywhere. This is the marine unit.
