Great job on your first box! Its no small task to build a folded horn as your first box, especially that type of design.

i dont think that would work to well although i kinda want to see what happens, i think you would have some big cancellation problems with the front waves of the driver mixing with the rear. plus i think you would encounter alot of port noise. Not to mention that the volume that the port holds...

no problem, sorry but i have never worked on one of those so i really cant help much for the dimensions, the best way to start it is just go out and measure to see what you can fit.

in those kinds of tight spots i just get some glue on my finger and the use my finger to make a nice bead across the joint, but if you glue is set up well and its not too thin i would think its ok.

ok, rockford says 1.3ft^3 per sub tuned to 32hz. so with those specs you are up to 2.6cf, and after displacements you will be building a box over 3cf. so if you can spare the room and want somthing else i would say build your box so the subs will be seeing about 2cf each. 4cf for the subs plus...
