Issue with my new car audio setup

Since the amps are grounded to the floorboard, it will be better to add an engine to strut tower ground.
If you think that will solve my problem I can add another ground on top of the engine to chassis ground under my car, but I just want to make sure that there’s a decent chance it will fix my issue before spending more time and money on it. My capacitor ground is sanded down and grounded right next to my battery terminal ground on the side wall of my trunk, however my 2 amps are grounded to my trunk floorboard and not sanded down, I will sand those down tomorrow to see if that makes a difference also.

p of the engine to chassis ground under my car,
When you say this I assume you are grounding to an actual subframe chassis. Those are bolted to the unibody frame chassis via rubber body mounts so great ground contact is not what they strive for. The shock tower mount is a strengthened part of the unibody chassis and the trunk floorboard is part of that unibody.

Hopefully this will be the solution.

Okay, I will try this! Thanks, I’ll let you know if it solves it.

My best guess is the amplifier grounds are not good enough. You are only running about 900 watts rms with those amplifiers, so the rest of the electrical system should be fine.
( you do realize that the Boss “2000 watt” amplifier really only makes like 375 watts rms, right?)

I did not know that, that’s what I was nervous about Becuase 2000 watts is a lot of power. Now that we got that out of the way I am going to fix my amplifier grounds today, will just sanding down to bare metal be enough or do I need to find a new location? I will also be adding a engine to strut tower ground.

I would try sanding first.
My tweeters were wired wrong 🤦🏼‍♂️so I unplugged those and it stopped my capacitor and boss amp from blinking ever beat drop but my skar amp is very sensitive, will all the settings down including gain it doesn’t flash but as soon as I make any adjustments it starts flashing on the beat.
