Battery ?

I have the Rockford Fosgate Power T1000x1 at 1 ohm and the Alpine S2-A36F amp which is 60 x4 or 180 x 2 bridged. Do i need and extra battery or power cell in the trunk along with my main battery or should i just buy a stronger battery just for under my hood?
Is your battery under the hood an agm or standard lead acid? If you're just dimming a little I'd think a bigger agm under the hood should fix that

It is just a little. I took it to a local car audio shop and that's what he reccomended. Idk what I should put the Optima comes up when I search. I have a 2019 Kia Optima lx. Im.not sure if I should just measure that battery and find like an xspower battery that fits.

I'm sure someone who knows more about battery brands will chip here for which are best...but I'd measure the battery compartment and get the biggest battery that'll fit in there

The big 3 is because the draw from the stereo is taking away vehicle's usage based on dimming lights. This will not fix the problem, it is only a part of the BEST solution.

The OP has not yet said what vehicle they have. They have not said what alternator they have and we don't know their options. They NEED a better alternator. We don't know if they need something else besides the alternator. They COULD just go and buy a 200 amp alternator and they should be covered, (depending on the vehicle). They might be upgrading further, and want something larger, which should be planned for now. They might be able to get a OEM alt in the 140-160 amp range which would get them close enough, where they could use a cap for the rest. We don't know: their options, their plans, or their budget.

Now, lets see if you can come up with a complete thought, and actually make an effort to help. I doubt it, but go ahead and tell me where I'm wrong.

Your posts show what you understand, unless you deliberately post info contrary to your understanding, in which case you intentionally steer people in the wrong direction.
Show me a single case where big3 fixed dimming headlights, and i will yield.

I recommend counterarguments over personal attacks, unless your goal is to look insecure.

I didn't steer OP wrong, and I have never said that the big 3 will fix dimming lights. Dimming lights only helps to point out the problem, which will never be fixed by the big 3 alone, and will only SEEM to make the problem worse.

The OP asked for the BEST solution to fix it. They didn't ask for the easiest, or cheapest solution. The BEST solution requires doing the big 3 along with a better alternator.

OP needs a better alternator. If they are going to put in a better alternator then they also need the big 3...

Since 3 people have asked what vehicle the OP has, and they haven't contributed that information; it was the best that anyone can really help the OP, until they want to help us, help them.

Except that is the exact opposite of what you did here, and only makes you a hypocrite.

Big 3 is a talking point that most (including you) don't understand. Same goes for alternator.

@loke7017 don't blame the site for your vague question.

Just because you wrote "Unapologetic PRICK" under your name, doesn't mean you need to try to live up to it as often as you can.

You win. You are right. You are smarter than I am. I comment here to mislead people
