Which pioneer speaker series is the best in terms of SQ?

Apart from the Z series which is supposed to be the best for SQ, which model between the R, A, D, G do you think follows the Z series for best sound quality?

Can't say I'd run any of the current pioneer offerings.

The tweeters look horrible visually and the mids look weak.

Personally I'd go with the alpine r series.

Not everyone wants to have blaring loud highs

The current pa style trend is quite horrible in my opinion.

Pro audio speakers have their place in car audio in loud systems. Guys who are running 1000’s of watts of power can utilize the P.A. speakers to good effect.
I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone without knowing how they are going to be used.

Because Pro Audio usually sounds like *** in clubs/venues and sounds even worse in the car audio environment.

Wouldn't really run Pioneer for SQ. Look at Image Dynamics. Morel or Dyn if your pockets are deep. Lots of other good choices out there. Alpine is a good suggestion.

That's why you tune it properly and you don't have to load your doors up. Something like my friends Honda mini-van. All McLaren's and no tweets. He doesn't even have any subs.

The pros are for SPL not SQ. thats why i didnt mentioned the pro series. to note that i have 4 DB arnold mid and 2 x B350 tweeter in the trunk. those tweeter are way too harsh. tweeters needs to do "tssss tssss tssss" and not "Ksss kssss ksss". those b350 and b400 do "kssss"
