Ileft mine @0 and played mine on an old school Autotek Mean Machine 99 and had excellent results. The EQ helped tune to keep this issue from happening, Sounded fantastic and I enjoyed them very well. I did have the tweets on my CDT Braxial 6.5s seemed like they would bottom out at times.. but again thats why I like to run an indash External EQ, cleans things up on the fly. Worth every penny spent and the time to put one in and adjustments to any song on the fly. I highly recommend to have one installed. Its like Night and day.

Once you run an External EQ. I dont think you would ever go back to just having a deck alone with a built in EQ.It doesnt have to be installed in the dash.. Ive even wedged one in between the driver seat so I didnt have to cut in a dash or hang/screw one under the dash even

Really liked my Polk mm set. But, if running too much power, tweets will cut out due to the tweeter protection, same thing most cdt passive sets have. Drove me nuts . Other than that, nice set for sure.

I have a couple sitting.. there are some cheaper ones that work very nice for the money. I just dont care for the bright lighting that the newer ones have usually. Pretty bright lighting but hell .. they work for the money. Just the clarity and gain in volume is amazing

came home in acrappy mood and went ahead and ordered the 4 channel amp, to make me feel better..lol
my hu has a 10 band on it now, but i did look at the 7 band ct. now im going to look at some speakers. who needs xmas when everyday can be xmas..lol

what is the min and max cf for the 1022? i cant find it.. im trying to decide on the glue it and screw it boxes. they have 31, 33, 35 and 37 htz boxes, but the compact seems to be too small, i dont think 1.0cf is enough for those speakers, was thinking more like 1.5 to maybe 2.5, but like i said, i cant find it.

just picked up a set of massive 6.5 midrange speakers175 rms. it was only 43.00, will see how they sound after i get them in the rear doors. they are shallow mount, so i shouldnt have to cut or fight with the door. i hope. never tried massive before, maybe i stumbled onto something decent. we will see.

back when i had my 87 tercel in germany, i ran 1 powered and 1 passive eq. my friend wired the whole system and i only had one amp running everything. cant remember what was in there name brand and wattage wise, but there were 2 10's, 2 8's, 2 6x9's,2 4.5'sand 2's. it was awesome sounding and that thing rocked. it would shake your clothes, but for the life of me i couldnt tell you what i had in there. it was way louder than what i have now. hopefully these new amps and speakers will remedy that. i love pulling up next to someone bumping some rap music and hit them with some heavy metal that shatters their whole image. although i used to be into that, i cant find any decent stuff these days. techno is out, but if you guys have some decent music i am willing to give it a listen.

thank you.. i figured he would stand out. just got my email today, saying i can download the new album( digital copy) the shirts and album will be coming next week i think. i always support my band. i still have the cd coming also. i dont know how many more albums they have left in them but i hope they will be around for awhile.

What 4 channel amp did you end up getting?? LOL.. Ive done the same in the past.. Spontan. Purchas on amps subs ect to make my day seem worth the breath taken

31 or 33 HTZ would be Ideal for those subs. Ive got an enclosure 4.0@32 that a pair of tens sound pretty brute and get down in when I swapp my SQubed HDS310s, a pair of 12s tuned to 30HTZ

Ive had quite a few Massive Components, tweets and 6.5 mids. They Are not the greatest speakers,, but for the rear fill as I did in my 99 CRV .. they did fine on 60 rms. All my Tweets Blew on nominal power in the component sets. For $43 bucks?? Id at the least recommend placing some cheap Bass Blockers on them to keep them alive. Can be found on Ebay, or @ Parts Express,Sonic Electronix

since the screw it and glue it shows 3sf, thats saying 1.5 each. is that going to be enough? do i need to throw some batten down in each speaker hole?
