Rockville W12K6D4 V2 K6 Series 12" Dual 4-Ohm Car Subwoofer

Just made a discovery today I need help with. The subs are hooked up within a bandpass box. I have the positive and negative lead from one side then connects to the other side followed by a single wire for both sides that lead to the speaker box terminals. I have used 5 different amps with these subs and all of them would go into protect mode after turning the volume up. The amps used do not do this when connected to other speakers. Help?

It will be. Im buying a Sundown amp they just released to use with these subs that can run 1 ohm applications.

Im buying a sundown amp they just released for the final amp for these subs. After rewiring the subs in the morning will be ready for 1 ohm use as soo as the amp arrives.
