Sundown Full Bridge Stuck in Protect Mode

I just installed a Sundown SFB3K a couple of weeks ago and now it's stuck in protect mode. We were playing a rebassed version of Enter Sandman and the amp went into protect and then the voltage meter went crazy. Anywhere from 8-13 volts. We turned everything off for a couple of hours and then everything seemed fine. But, as soon as I turned it up a little and the bass hit, right back into protect again. The blue light on the bass knob is blinking and the yellow clip light is solid (not blinking) with the radio on and the volume on zero. Any thoughts? I have and AGM, Mechman 320, and Big three.

Have you checked the subs yet? What they're reading?

The subs and amp never even got warm. I literally started my truck and played one song while idling. No coil smell or anything. My voltage meter is connected to the amp. So, it turns on whenever I turn my radio on. It's played great for two weeks.

From what I've read its rated at 1 ohm but not recommended
I'm not sure what subs your running but can you change it to 2 or 4 ohms and see if it still happens?
Just so you know I'm not just pulling this out the air here is a quote from an advertisement for the amp

"The new SFB series is being kicked off with a 3000-watt mono. This is a "full range" mono ideal for "PA" type speakers as well as standard bass applications. It is very compact at ~8 7/8" x ~7 5/8" so also great for tight spaces. It is not suggested for operation under the rated 1-ohm load. This unit features full sized 1/0 power inputs and high-quality metal control knobs to set it apart from other models in it's class. This is a budget line and We are working on other, larger, models for this line as well -- stay tuned for those details."

For the record I have a SAZ 3000D that I tried to run at 0.5ohm and it did the same thing.
It played for about a month and then stopped
When I switched the subs out and ran it at 1 ohm it was fine.

From all I've read and heard is that you shouldn't run them at 1 ohm.i have the same amp, the sfb 3000 an a 500.4. I got the same result as you do. Changed to 2 ohms an all is well.
