2010 ranger air movement box design

Hi, I have a 2010 ranger ext cab with gutted rear seats so there is a fair bit of room to work with. What would the ideal placement of subs and port or ports be? I am going for air movement. I have 2-12" death row subs and a incriminator audio ia20 at 1ohm. I am thinking around 3 cu feet for each sub, tune to no more than 35hz and have the port directed under the front seats with the subs facing the rear of the seats up high near the headrest. Will this sub/port orientation be good for air movement, maybe a hair trick although doubtful with my set up?

All the extended cab rangers and S10s with no wall builds I have seen in the lanes have been sub up port up with two 15s. I would build a 4th or 6th order myself with you having 12s.

I will have to look into designs, I don't think 4th or 6th order were around much I was 18. I am just getting back into it like 30yrs later

Those boxes were around back then for sure. I had a prefab Rockford Fosgate 8" sixth order around 1990. Not really "new" stuff. Though IMO not worth the effort unless you're just up for a woodworking challenge.

I think you were on the right track initially with 3 cube per sub 35hz tuning. Make the port as large as practical and do port up or towards a side (driver's side if you ever plan to compete). Incriminator makes good stuff so you should be happy if you build a solid and airtight box.
