2 Channels on my amp that are 2 ohms each. Bridges MONO 4 ohm. Help please.

Hello. I recently picked up this little setup, the cadence 1000.2 with a skar 1200 12 inch and I want to know how to wire it best. The sub has DVC at 4ohms and the amp has a bridged 4 ohm output. How should I wire it? Thanks for your time. (Sorry but I’m a noob lol)

Your best option with the equipment you have is to wire the coils in series and bridge the amplifier at a 8 ohm load.
Unfortunately that is only going to get you 130 watts rms.

Another F-Body guy on here! Nice to see! I had an 87 T/A - LB9 with a T-5 back in the day. Nice looking setup as well! If I can ever find another clean 3rd Gen I'll probably pick it up for nostalgia's sake.

My 83 is an Indy Pace Car this is my 4th gen Z28 it’s a 93 ...I also have a 2nd Gen Z/28 and TA in my collection.

For second I thought that picture was taken in Australia....

After flipping my laptop upside down, looks like a helluva setup! Quite an eclectic collection you have there. I can see what looks to be a 77 T/A?, a late 70's 911? First gen Talon/Eclipse, 2006ish Mustang and two more I can't make out. Soon enough my daughter will graduate high school and I'll be able to get some land in a real state.

An 1989 Probe LX . I always liked those ....A 43k mile 80 Trans AM SE one of 2600 made rarer than the 5000 plus Indy pace cars made in 80 ....An 86 Porsche Carrera Targa hybrid ..74 Porsche 914 2.0 ..70 MGB GT .. also hid behind the 911 and 914 is a Guards Red with black interior 82 Porsche 928 ...

Yep an 89 . I took 2nd at USACi World Finals in a silver 89 Probe in 1991 in McKinney Texas

I had two Rockford pro series ($380 each) 12's on a Nakamichi pa-400m. Nakamichi EC200H crossover. Rockford 5-1/4" in the doors with tweeters mounted behind the A/C vents. 5-1/4" two way in the rear. Sony AM//FM/CD with a sony XK-8d cassette player and a Rockford pa1-hd pre-amp. The mid/highs amp was a Rockford 150 hd. The sub box weighed 220 lbs. 1" medite separate ported chambers. $5,500 sounded good, but CD skipped.
