Fuse question....dont kill me lol

So im trying to configure what size external fuse I'll need for my new wiring as my Scendo doesnt have internal fuses...

is Amp wattage x 13.8 + 20-30 = xxx  , which I saw on youtube, still a good/decent estimation?

so basically it would be 2250w rms  x  13.8 = 166.67 + 30 = 196.67 so I should have a 200amp fuse?

 Crescendo BC2000D and going for 1/0ga and doing a Big 3. 2003 Tahoe stock 135amp Alt for now but will be going with a big quality battery.

You should be just fine with a 250-300/amp ANL fuse at the battery with the 0ga wiring and follow up with proper fusing like a distro block at the amp/amps for fusing.Should be approx 20-25ft run of wiring for that vehicle, that alt should be plenty with the Big 3 in 0ga, and a decent Group 34/78 AGM battery for that amplifier, and a decent 75-100x4 mids and highs amplifier with a good ground

Thanks dude. I do have the bose system and wanted some mild updates for the doors which is why I went with the simple pioneer 3 ways for each door I was doing to run off the head unit.

It should sound a little better than stock.I hope it all turns out well.You have plenty of room in that vehicle to do whatever youd like.I recommend to deaden the front doors if you have the time and funds.Its worth it.

Thanks baun...I used to have a 03 Tahoe and could never bring myself to sell the box, glad I never did now lol.
