Deadening to SPL Gains in my Jeep

Going to a show tomorrow so the head-liner has to go back in temporarily.

I am still 1.0 dB ahead of my best Nightshade score to date with the head-liner back in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Lies, Lies..

I bet ANT is giving you free damp in return you try to trick us into believing your getting 1.4more dbs with little deadener, nice plan, you think us fools will buy into that?

Jk lol, wish i could afford that stuff, especially when he gets the black foil in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

It did a 153.9 at the show yesterday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have been testing inside and the show was out in direct sun-light so that is within expectations.

Put a layer of Motor Mat on top of your hood during the show. It will reflec the radiant heat and will cool the damplifier Pro in side the car and you will increase your numbers.

If they let you that is.

Otherwise you can always park your car in the shade and run your ac for an hour, then turn it off and charge your system just before you burp. The cooler air in side the car will allow shte Damplifier Pro to do better and you will get a higher number.

Put the 3000D back in... dead on at 152.0 as before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Added dampener to my hatch + second layer on the back 1/3 of the roof :

NO CHANGE - 152.0 dB

Next will be to double layer the rest of the roof... then on to the sides!

Something happened when I added the second layer on the front 1/3 of the roof and brought me down to 151.9 dB again. I peeled that off and got back up to 152.0 dB but my extra 0.1 is missing in action!

May have been from having a complete battery charge.

Pics of what I added then peeled off :

Good think about Damplifier is you can get it off if you do it shortly after application - just don't try to do it later on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Good info to know. Looks like I'll only be doing one layer of pro on my roof.
Indeed. Amazing how effective one layer was //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Now... on to the rest of the Jeep! Roof gains are maximized.
