this thread is no good without pics.
lol, as the post says pics will be up shortly. I still have to take them all. We are just getting started. Going to start removing all of the panels and seats and everything and laying down the deadner and then start wiring.

woah so you're spending all that money and don't even know how to wire the stuff?
hah, i have a general idea of how it all works and have someone who is helping/guiding me through it all but no i am not a specialist or anything. I've hooked up my own systems before and ran my own cables and hooked up hu's and cameras and such but never something this complicated.

Here is a teaser pic of a to scale drawing (via Google sketchup) of the amp rack/battery display and mids/high box that I designed and sketched up. The actual build will most likely not start for another 2 weeks (waiting for the weather not to ****) but we will start the sound deadner and wiring asap. There will be a ton of pics so be sure to follow the thread. Fyi - who needs back seats when you got bass?

Sorry for got the image...

You don't need that EQ, they are horrible.

Get one of the new 3 way active pioneer double dins. Won't need that eq.
any recommendations? I have not bought a actual HU in a long time. I've always run through my stock unit or navi for like my last 3-4 builds.

The 2015 x3700bhs

I put a 2700 in my buddies 350z running 3 way active.

Bought my mom the 3700 for Christmas but am not running it active.

I like my 80prs better but if you want a DD those are the way to go. IMO.

8 tweeters??
Lol, I know right! Trust me I said the same exact thing! I originally just ordered 4 but then my boy who regularly competes in this type of stuff recommended that I get an additional 4 in order to have each 5 1/4 have its own tweeter. I am trying to have SPL and SQ so I am just following his instructions.

Your boy is leading you down a wrong road. Where do you plan on crossing that 5.25"?

Edit: Nevermind, this is no SQ install, based of that speaker box.
