That's exactly what my company is doing.. with several hundred amps to start off.Here in 8 days finally.

Yea I could start bigger but I don't want to get hundreds of thousands at first, I have my $100,000 SBL that helps me on new projects so it helps. I have always started my projects small and let them grow them self, always works for me.

Post up some pics and info when you get them, same build house?

If you want a regular case and board then it wouldnt be terrible buying in-
If you wanna make yours original, then tooling a new case etc is where the $$ gets deeep..

I have some different ideas from things I have done in the past in motorcycles and computers I want to apply to an amp.

It might be to costly for main stream but I may do some one off stuff case wise color wise that is and design..

As an example look at the frame, swingarm, sub frame, wheels on this custom bike http://nickangladaoriginals.com/madscience.htm a bike at a shop here local we worked with, that is what I am looking at for casing. So they would be tooling the amp, putting it all together, we would get it test it fully pull it fully apart get it coated back together. Always been interested in the designs, etc. Just never had the $$ to do mass quantity.

I think what I might do is buy an close to my design idea and try my design on it and do a bit of testing...

I really like the titanium finish, if it reacts to heat like it does on a motor cycle it should be cool looking over the fets etc. Anyone ever seen a titanium amp before? I know there is chrome, painted, powder coated ( I also have some ideas for the powder coating ) like translucent colors over chrome finish.

Bu I don't want it to turn in to an audiobahn.. lol

My favorite thing is the one of different designs like the bikes we did. I already have the hook ups on paint, powder coat, chrome, titanium, pin strippers, some of the paint brush people..

But it would push these amps in price depending on what finish i do them in.

Think there would be a market it for it custom or using sundown's casing? I mean in the end its about the same thing I would be getting.. lol

I think they do there sizes power wise match what I am looking at.. 2200wrms, 3500wrms are some they offer up to 9k. AQ amps would look cool custom done as well and a bit cheaper.
