ok i have been debating for a long time what i want to do... get a 12" RE SE or keep my 12" Audiobahn Flame Q. and since some of you guys are more of experts about the SPL / SQ ratio or the way the sub works i'll just ask you... in your opinion (please dont turn into flame fest). this is going to help me decide alot on what i should do...

I want it to sound better then the other but possibly even have a higher SPL too.

here are some specs on the Audiobahn

1100 RMS @ 2 Ohm bridged.

Dual 4Ohm VC.

i am keeping the 1200W spl amp with this system because it'll just be easier for me to sell the sub then the amp if i were to sell it....

But ok, now anyone who knows anything about either of these subs will be willing to help, i know some people think this is another stupid A VS. B thread but this will help me determine what i am going to get/keep. so Help me out! THANKS!

Go RE all the way sorry but I severely dislik bahn and dont care for any of their products but thats me i've jsut heard several bahn systems and didnt care for them one bit.

X2, I think A'bahn makes better amps than subs. Go with the RE.

SE's are fukin awesome subs, audiobahn flame Q's are not....i have not much else to say.

RE subs are better, but there were Abahn subs in the Fast n The Furious, so its a tough call.

Really though, go with the RE.

of those two... RE is the choice i would make i have not heard any RE subs but have heard the abahn and was not impresed not even a little.

lol audio, i like how you put that, everyone has just told me that the RE subs are better, im more of looking for a "WHY" they are better though. like this is mostly based of specifications of the subs.

You can't just look at the specs and say "Yep, sub XX is better than sub XY" because 1) Companies can lie about their specs *cough* audiobahn *cough*, and 2) It takes an advanced knowledge to fully understand the specs presented and their effect on the subs performance.
