Your first/favorite system?

my first was a jl 10w0-8 (LOL) bridged on a 2 channel alpine amp, seeing probably 100 watts RMS in a truck box in my 93 nissan pickup lol. Was still pretty nice either way.
ha, i have 2 of those under my computer desk. (JL10w0-8). only one running though due to amp not working at 4ohms.

it bangs

2 of the old school kicker comp 12's in a huge sealed box. Back then they were 400 rms each, in a huge sealed box, and actually pretty loud.. Back before solo-baric..Back before kicker decided to name their crappiest sub the comp. Hooked up to a jbl gts 150 ( 75x2- I think ) and it was ran through an old clarion deck.

Certainly wasn't the best but it was my first

Jensen 4 channel I bought off my friend for $75 bridged to a pair of Kicker ST1000 loaded truck boxes, ported 10's with some tweeters mounted on the top of the box. Rest of the system was a $200 Sony Xplod hu powering a pair of pioneer 6.75" coaxials that were in the truck when I got it. Was certainly sweet back when I had it lol, then being young and dumb I blew one sub one night when I was pissed and ignorant, maxed the gain and the bass boost and turned all the filters off. Worked good for about 2 hours of pretty much full tilt playing lol.

My favorite system of mine would be the one I am building lol.

First (circa 94)

Alpine Deck

4 channel Fosgate

cerwin vega components (loud)

2 JL 10's (this was before they had W0's/W3's)

Bumped pretty good in the old 88 Civic Si hatch..lol

Favorite (01-02)

Sony HU

Clarion EQ

2 Zapco reference series amps (450.2/450.4)

Focal K2 seperates

I forget what the rear fill was?

2 10" alumapro Allehemy in a sealed box

Camaro sounded pretty damm clean:)

Most classic was either four pioneer 10s - pre impp, la sound amps, denon pullout or a little later two impact 12s off of urban audio amps with an eclipse ecd 410.

Both with random 6x9s and tweeters in my 78 k-5.

favorite one is current one

1st one ....... hmmmm Sanyo cassette player (CD's hadn't been invented yet) and amp, EPI plate speakersfor front and rear, no sub - no 12V active crossovers yet. Yea, I'm an old fart.

current by far. i love my old school MTX amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

seriously thinking of taking my substage and doubling it.

My first was probably the WORST of them all ( But I was rollin' )

(2) 15" Pro Studio - Home Theatre System - Subs

(1) DepthCharger 400x1 @ 2ohm - That amp was GREAT!

This next part is funny

Didn't feel like buyin' a box, so I kicked that big a$$ enclosure that they came in into my trunk... ://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif:

It was ported though! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
