try to get ur hands on a 13w7 and compare that with the XXX in SPL and SQ. i wonder what the results would be in overal sound. i know people bash it because its mainstream and the price. but if both subs were the same price i wonder which people would think is better.

I would say that the A could give the XXX a run in the SQ department.

But since it's no longer in production, it wouldn't be a very useful review...much like the Brahmas.

Yeah I would like to do a production driver...I like the idea of the diamond audio D9, New mag (although dont know when it will be out), Type R (although I dont know if it has what it takes), or another driver currently being produced...

If I find one for less then 450 I would (mainly because it would be a good deal lol) But I doubt I find one that cheap...

i foudn mine that was used for 2 weeks for 375+shipping. and i didnt really want a W7 but i really wanted to see what all the hype was and i could prob resell it for more if i ever decided to.

Yeah I would like to use one for that reason as well as around here I have never seen nor heard one....I would like to see if my theory of it being an over priced piece is true....

Looks like the type R is still leading...Although it is a hyped up sub I do not know if A. it will even be a worthy competitor. or B. it will even take that much power daily. 1500watts is its max and I would be feeding it that RMS.....

Agreed.......Not really a good comparison, considering the price range of the subs. Maybe like two or three of the type r's (or however many equal the price of the xxx). Sort of a whats better for the money type thing would work.

Yeah but I am after a more which one is worth big money you spend on it type deal and which one just out and out performs the best. I have yet to hear a sub that i consider "better" then my XXX12 I had.

i heard the prottype of the new mag it got loud and sounded good, but the XXX got a bit louder but didnt sound as good. i like the idea of of the XXX vs. RLs simple becasue mrray did such an awesome comparsion of the XXX vs. RLp. but the rls 15 is gonna cost 580. but its gonna be realesed within the month:yumyum: . now that would be a great comparison.
