I almost forgot.....I could compare it to a Crystal CMPX2 15......One for sale on the forum I can pick up..
Very entertaining how absolutely everyone that replied on this forum did not have even the first comment to give about doing a comparison with the Crystal CMPx2. HHHMMMM!!! Someone should chime in at any moment and tell this guy that a CMPx2 is pretty much dead even with the likes of XXX's, Brahma's, Magnum's, RL-P's....etc.

I'll chime in and say that I loved my CMPX2 ... but I liked my Brahma much, much more.

I will //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
Whereabouts?

For testing in a proper size enlcosure and vehicle with proper equalization and power? As soon as I move into my house and receive our household goods shipment. Should be within a month.

tough call.......i would have said brahma to make it a fair comparison....but the brahma and XXX are practically interchangable..... now if it's the new brahma that'd be and interesting comparison

i voted for the type r.....because i would love to see how badly the xxx dominates the type R....though it being a veyr good sub, just too many type r boner lately...makes me dizzy....

not really the new brahmas worse than the old one, so the comparison has been made for you.
Pay attention man, read what Squeak wrote. Read what Dan wrote, use some sense and brains when making a comment such as this.

It would definately be hard to tell "for sure" if a sub that has not been released yet is better or worse then the previous model....Although it is odd that they would make it less beefy then the previous version..Unless mabye the are going for more of a SQ sub instead of SQL...I know the original brahma was for SQ too...

Dan explained it all on some thread, but I cant find it anymore. I belive it was because they could get close to the same performance from materials that cots a lot less.

well look at the new mag compared to the claw basket...not nearly as mean looking.. but just as loud and gets alot lower and a lil bit louder.

Hmmm......reading comprehension skills impaired today?

They decreased excursion by .5mm; obviously not going to make an audible or noticeable difference. Yeah, the dropped down to a 2.5" coil (and less power handling) from a 3" coil....but, considering in most circumstances you didn't need to give the Brahma full power to extract full performance, it might not be as much of a downgrade as people think. According to Adire, the performance is right on par with the old Brahma. And yeah, I know...could just be them hyping their own product. But I trust Dan would have more integrity than that. Until it's in the hands of the consumers, I guess there's really no way to judge it one way or the other. But for now, I'll trust Dan's statements.

Yeah I would like to do a production driver...I like the idea of the diamond audio D9, New mag (although dont know when it will be out), Type R (although I dont know if it has what it takes), or another driver currently being produced...
xxx realy isnt in production anymore.

Tweeter won't let me buy it for someone else...sorry dude I tried! I'm only allowed to use my discount on me and my family. But you'd be suprised at how cheap those W7's are for us!
