XR's keep up with ported XXX?

I never quite understand what people mean by "will these keep up with this"
Do you want them to play 140dbs like your sub does? Do you really think any component set will be able to blend with 140dbs? Doesnt make sense to me. Yes, you will be able to hear them, its not hard to hear higher frequencies over low frequencies.

He just wants to be able to hear his highs over the boom. I had the same problem in an older system, to where my highs were being drowned out by the bass.
