Best Sub for my Application?

Which 12" sub would be optimum in a ~2 cubic foot ported box? I plan on only using one subwoofer because there is not much room in the back of my firebird to provide enough space for 2 ported woofers. I was looking at the L7 but I don't have quite the airspace for it. Is the MTX Thunder T8512 a solid woofer? If not, which other would you recommend?

I am looking more for spl than sq, and whichever sub I choose-it will be efficiently powered by a solid amp. The box will be in the back of a 1997 firebird ***** am.

most 12s will work in 2cubes ported...and i would hope it would get loud in a hatchback

Im currently looking into the mtx 9500 12", for some ported box killer spl. Does anyone have any opinions on this sub? How would it compare to an Eclipse titanium 12" (in a ported box setup)?
