XBOX360 game recommendation...

I had Bioshock for a while. I did think it was pretty fun.

Dead Space sounds like a fun game, but it is supposedly a 'one timer' with no replay factor?

I couldnt really get into bioshock.

The concept is cool. I just think that style of gameplay is played out. Same with multiplayer deathmatch type games. I dont enjoy them.

Singleplayer is where its at for me.

If I have a regular, base model XBOX360... what would I need? I am assuming a router and a wireless connection/wired connection?

as long as you have a saved profile with either a hard drive or a memory card you should be able to directly hook up your 360 to your modem and go online. your only downfall is no ca.com while you 360.

if the location of your modem is too far from your 360 and you don't want to run cables all over the house then a wireless router with a wireless 360 modem would come in handy. my router is in my bedroom where my 360 is so my wired connection is no biggie for me.

army of 2 was decent, although it sucks if you don't have someone else to play with.

not sure about the online play though.

The replay factor really depend's on the person. There isn't really alot to the game but it's extremely fun. I've played alot of game's that people said had a great replay value but to me after the first time through I could care less about replaying it.

So, I bought Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead not too long ago. Spent a LOT of time on F3, and really enjoyed it. Have only played L4D through one campaign, and already kinda bored of it. Beat F3 and now I need something else to load up when the woman isn't watching movies.
I don't play the 360 on the internet, so disregard anything that is an awesome 'group game,' as I am looking for something that I can enjoy without logging on to play.

Is there anything else out there, other than F3 and Oblivion that is along those lines that I haven't seen?

I liked Assassin's Creed too, so I may have to look into the new Prince of Persia... anyone have it?

its almost necessary to have internet for Left 4 Dead, **** i was bout to give you my gamertag and we could play sometime lol but then i read you dont have internet.

you could try Gears of War 2? I mean its an awesome campaign even without xbox live.

You didn't like L4D because it wasn't designed to be a single player game. The bots **** and can't beat anything past Normal, which is way too easy.

Online though, the game is one of the most fun things I have ever played. At least on the PC, controllers ftl. I've literally played through the four available campaigns dozens of times and its still fun every time.
